Course description:

There are many scholar leadership theories which try to explain how leaders are formed and effective; however, traditional theories don’t cover leaders who can operate at a global level within multicultural contexts. Leaders who are exposed to different people, countries, and cultures; develop the ability to find common patterns across countries and markets. With the need for effective managers operating globally, the interest in learning about how to develop global leaders’ abilities has become imperative.

Global leaders:

  • Scale at a global level and still provide customized services/products to local markets
  • Align operations in different countries
  • Forecast changes and trends worldwide
  • Are sensitive and open to different cultures and understand them
